Offset Saddle thresholds are commonly used to meet with an irregular floor surface.

The 157 Offset Saddle Threshold measures 5-1/2" inches in width and makes smooth transition in floor areas between different floor surfaces ranging from 1/4" to 1/2" in height.   This is commonly used when meeting tile or carpet on one side. This aluminum threshold, with a fire-rated construction, is specifically crafted to accommodate up to a 1/4" height change in floor surfaces.
