These frames are ideal for double swinging (double acting) restaurant style / traffic impact doors - for single or double openings. Traffic doors & hardware not included.
Commercial KD frames are among the most popular door frames used around the world. They can be used for a variety of wall construction materials (drywall, masonry, etc). Cased Opening Frames, sometimes referred to as Trimmed Opening Frames, complete an opening appearance when there is no door being hung into the frame. Cased or Trimmed Opening Frames finish the opening. Our KD frames can meet a variety of applications and can be painted to complement any decor. MDI knock-down frames are standard with a compression wall anchor, sometimes referred to as a "pressure-fit anchor" or a "tension screw anchor."
This Cased Opening Frame is reinforced to accept a double acting Traffic Impact Door installed onto it. The double acting traffic door can be manufactured by Eliason, Aleco or Equal. Drilling of holes for hardware is performed by door installer. Door and hardware not included.
