Heavy Duty Door Safety Chain for Doors Up to 48" Wide
Progressive Hardware RDC-36 Door Safety Chain
Galvanized steel butt welded door safety chain with rubber covering

Door roof chains are used to secure the door to the frame via the chain so that the door is not opened too much by an individual or by wind.  This is to protect the door or frame from damage if the door is opened too much.  The RDC-36 door roof chain is a very popular option to control the degree of opening of the door to protect the door, frame or building from damage if the door is opened too much or too fast.

This RDC Heavy Duty Door Safety Chain keeps the door from swinging too far in the process of opening. A spring connects to one part of the chain, giving a soft open while still slowing the opening of the door near then end of the open position. Made of galvanized steel.
