Shipping policy

GENERAL SHIPPING NOTICE: 
Please note that we must collect sales tax on orders shipping to destinations within the States of New York, New Jersey and Florida. Actual total amount of sale may vary slightly depending your local sales tax. For orders shipping to any other state it is the buyers responsibility to pay the sales tax directly to their respective state whereas we do not collect sales tax outside of the states of NY, NJ & FL.  If your Ship To destination is within one of these states and you are a Reseller, Tax Exempt Organization, Non-Profit Organization, Government Agency (State or Local), etc and you have the proper Tax Exempt form, place your order and in the Message Box at check-out please note that you will be sending a copy of the Exempt form via email immediately after the order is placed.  Please include your order number when you send the form via email to: orders@mdisupply.com.

Please be aware that we DO NOT ship to PO Boxes and all packages ship-out require a signature at delivery.  We will not deviate from this policy.

If your order is shipping outside the continental US, to destinations such as International, Military APO/FPO, or a US Territory, please allow an additional 1-2 business days so we can prepare the proper packaging and shipping documents.

RESIDENTIAL SHIPPING NOTICE:
We will not ship orders to a residential address unless that address is also the billing address.  Therefore, if your billing address is residential the shipping address must match or it must be a commercial address. If the billing address is commercial, the shipping address must also be commercial. 

If your order is arriving via LTL Freight Truck (typically doors, frames or large orders) and your delivery location is limited access, a construction site, etc and the freight truck has a difficult time delivering to your location, it is your responsibility to work with the freight carrier to accommodate their truck for delivery or to work-out (with the carrier) an alternate but mutually beneficial location for the delivery of your goods.

MDI reserves the right to change carriers or shipping service at its own discretion.  We sometimes upgrade service level and find it necessary to sometimes change your order from shipping UPS (packages) to a Freight Carrier (pallet shipping) due to the  order weight or size.  The goal is to avoid transit damage and if we make any change the additional cost will be at MDI expense.  You will only pay the shipping amount you see at check-out. 

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
For Purchases with a Billing address outside of the United States and Canada, your Shipping address must match the Billing address for your order to be processed.
