Single Bore Lock Prep (1-Bore): 161 Lock Prep @ MDI Standard Location: This is a Single bore Prep that is a 2 1/8" hole x 2 3/4" backset.
Double Bore Lock Prep (2-Bores): is not standard and is optional. If you choose the Double Bore Prep...this adds a dead lock prep. (2) lock preps:
2 1/8" hole x 2 3/4" backset and it will be located 10" center-to-center above the standard standard bore lock prep. This prep is a modifcation to the standard door and once the DL prep is done the door cannot be canceled, returned or exchanged.

C: 10 Gauge high frequency dual purpose hinge reinforcement w/ return bend for added strength and rigidity. Field convertible to accommodate heavy weight hinges.
D: 18 gauge inverted top channel projection welded to the door skins and tack-welded at each corner.
E: 18 gauge box style door closer reinforcement.
F: 18 gauge inverted bottom channel projection welded to the door skins and tack-welded at each corner.
