Latching Panic Exit Saddle with Thermal Barrier - ADA Compliant

The 278x224 Series Latching Panic Saddle Threshold has a 4" width (welded on the bottom) and allows for a 3/8" door clearance. It's designed to protect against sound, air infiltration, wind, and debris and is compatible with surface-applied vertical rod exit devices, while also acting as a door stop and seal. It includes an integrated gasket offering ThermoSeal (T), Eco-V (V), and Pile Brush (P) options. This threshold is sound, air infiltration tested, fire rated, and BHMA certified.

 Tempered aluminum, 6063-T6

Nominal Door Width x 4" width x 1/2" max. height x straight cut

Application:

 Designed to work in conjunction with surface applied vertical rod exit devices. They are also used to provide a door stop and seal at the bottom of the door.

Stop:

 Integrated stop provides excellent sealing at the bottom of the door.

ThermoSeal:

 This threshold is supplied with a ThermoSeal ("T") insert x black.

Finish: Mill Finish aluminum with black thermo seal insert.
