PAL Aluminum Insulated Access Doors

The PAL aluminum access door comes standard with 16 gauge aluminum, a cylinder cam lock/key, neoprene gasketing pre-installed and 1" thick fiberglass wool insulation to reduce sound and air transfer between partitions.

Probably the most important feature of the PAL access door is that it comes standard with an aluminum door, aluminum frame and an aluminum piano-style hinge.

Unlike some of our competitors, their "aluminum door" comes with an aluminum door, steel frame and a stainless steel hinge...three disimilar metals leaving a greater chance for a galvanic reaction and possible rust or corrosion. 

Note: 
If you don't want a key lock on this door, there is a no charge option for a screwdriver operated cam latch.

For Exterior Installations:

• Apply exterior grade water-proof silicone (caulk) bead behind flange prior to installation and against flange after installation.
• All seams and pre-drilled holes must be filled with exterior grade water-proof silicone (caulk) after installation.
