From electric strikes to power supplies, request to exit stations, and door position monitoring we have curated high-quality products from our partners to make ordering your Smart Reader and all of it's related components easy and hassle-free for a complete solution. 

All Smart Reader Kit's Supplied by MDI Supply Include the Following:
(1) Smart Reader Key Pad - Centrios Smart Reader device.
(1) Electric Strike* - see below for more details.  This varies by kit.
(1) Power Supply - Securitron AQD2 dual voltage power supply, UL listed, supervised, 2Amp, 12VDC/24VDC.
(1) Wave Sensor - Alarm Controls "No Touch" request to exit staion w/ hand waving motion to exit.
(1) DPS - Door Position Sensor - Securitron DPS.

* No electric strike with Kit: CE-CER-CYOH-KIT.

Details of the Eletcric Strike in each kit to help you decide which kit is right for you:

  • CE-KIT-CER-5000C-630: Compact, high performance electric strike designed for low profile openings where there is limited space behind the jamb. This field selectable fail secure/fail safe unit is easy to install and accommodates latchbolts up to 5/8" throw. For use with cylindrical locksets and comes supplied with two face plates (501 and 501A face plates).  The 501 face plate is 4.875 H x 1.25 for use with cylindrical locksets in ANSI metal jambs.  The 501A face plate is 4.875 H x 1.25 W for use with cylindrical locksets or spring latches in aluminum frames. Includes universal mounting tabs. This electric strike us US32D-satin stainless steel. This is an HES brand electric strike.
  • CE-KIT-CER-1500C-630 The HES 1500 Series® electric strike is more than a new heavy duty, low profile solution for latchbolt locks. It has 1500 lbs static strength, field selectable fail secure/fail safe. It accommodates every brand of cylindrical or mortise lock (without a deadbolt) designed to work with a 4-7/8” strike plate. This electric strike us US32D-satin stainless steel. This is an HES brand electric strike.
  • CE-KIT-CER-9400-630 Slimline outdoor rated electric strike ideal for use with rim exit devices with a 1/2" throw latch. Dual voltage 12/24VDC.  No cutting of the frame is required for installation.  Field selectable for fail safe/fail secure operation. This electric strike us US32D-satin stainless steel. This is an HES brand electric strike.
  • CE-KIT-CER-9600-630 Outdoor rated electric strike for use with rim exit devices with a 3/4" throw latch. It is field selectable for fail secure or fail safe operation, and for 12 or 24 VDC. This electric strike is also windstrom rated. This electric strike us US32D-satin stainless steel. This is an HES brand electric strike.
  • CE-KIT-CER-7400-628 Designed for use with Adams Rite deadlatches or cylindrical locksets with 1/2" [12.7 mm] to 5/8" [15.9 mm] latchbolt projection. This electric strike can be used in aluminum, hollow metal, or wood applications. The face plate that is suppliued is flat with raidus corners. This electric strike is suitable for outdoor use and comes in 628-Aluminum finish. This is an Adams Rite brand electric strike.
  • CE-KIT-CER-VYOH-KIT This kit comes with the standard smart reader key pad, power supply, wave sensor and a door position switch.  This kit is only for those installers who already have or prefer to supply their own electric strike.  This kit comes with all of the standard items EXCEPT the electric strike.
